HIFZA SECTION

The revelation of the Qur'an is one of the many blessings with which Allah has honored His creatures. God's word has been transmitted from generation to generation for centuries through hifz - memorization of the Qur'an and is jealously guarded among Muslims around the world, regardless of their ethnic, racial or other affiliation. Recently, there are more and more hafiz in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Faculty of Islamic Pedagogy in Zenica is also known for its memorization of the Qur'an and hafiz. Our wish is to strengthen the activities of memorizing the Qur'an at our faculty through the Hifza Section.

The objectives of the Hifza Section are::

• encouraging a larger number of students to study the Qur'an,
• memorizing parts or the entire Qur'an,
• organizing contests in the study of the Qur'an (hifz, tilawet, etc.),
• scholarship for gifted students of the Section of Hifza as a sign of support in the path of memorizing the Qur'an.
