DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGY

The Department of Social Pedagogy, which according to the new organizational structure of the integrated University of Zenica has existed since June 2006, is located at the Faculty of Islamic Pedagogy of the University of Zenica. The scientific-scientific and scientific research area of her work is the constant modernization and organization of teaching in the subjects for which she is the master. At its regular 10/20 Session (Number: 112-2-05-05/20) held on 07.10.2020. The Department of Social Pedagogy, as part of item 3 of the Agenda, unanimously adopted a conclusion according to which two scientific areas were defined, namely:

– Social pedagogy

– Social work and Social Policy

The staff of the Department consists of:

Assoc. Ph.D. Azemina Maglić, assistant professor in the narrow scientific field of Social Pedagogy (Head of the Department),

Associate Prof. Dr. Muahrem Adilović, associate professor in the scientific field of Social Policy,

Associate Prof. Dr. Elma Begagić, associate professor in the narrow scientific field of Social Pedagogy,

Assoc. Ph.D. Aida Rizvanović, assistant professor chosen for the subject Basics of social-pedagogical assessment and programming in school,

Assist. Eldar Ćerim, assistant in the narrow scientific field of Social Pedagogy (Secretary of the Department).

Members of the Department of Social Pedagogy realize their research activities through:

- preparation and publication of scientific and professional papers, books, participation in conferences, congresses, seminars and round tables,

- peer review of scientific research papers,

- creation, coordination and cooperation on scientific research projects,

- membership of the editorial board and moderation of conferences, etc.

The subjects of the Department of Social Pedagogy are studied as joint, major or elective courses at the Department of Social Pedagogy, the Department of Preschool Education, the Department of Islamic Religious Education and the Department of Inclusive Education of the Faculty of Islamic Pedagogy in Zenica. The courses from the Department of Social Pedagogy are part of the first, second and third cycles of the Department of Social Pedagogy and the Department of Preschool Education, and the first cycle of the Department of Islamic Religious Education and the Department of Inclusive Education. The largest number of courses in this Department are located at the Department of Social Pedagogy, where the Department of Social Pedagogy is the holder of the Social Pedagogy course. Apart from the above, the Department provides research, conceptual and journalistic support for explaining and affirming the study model of social pedagogy, and thus the set of competencies of graduated social pedagogues. It has active cooperation with other departments of the University of Zenica, as well as other scientific and research institutions in the country and abroad, with which it has signed cooperation agreements.
