Today, the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Zenica celebrated Faculty Day with a ceremonial ceremony, which is traditionally celebrated on December 6th – a date that recalls the year 1993 and the beginnings of the faculty. Since then, the Faculty has grown into a modern, plural and dynamic institution recognized for its innovation, development and openness towards society.
The ceremony was attended by numerous guests and representatives of institutions that recognize the mission of the Faculty, support its work, and contribute to strengthening the academic community. It was an opportunity to formally thank them for their dedication and support.
Faculty plaques were awarded:

Dr. Dževad Hodžić, for exceptional commitment to strengthening higher education and supporting science and academic excellence;

Asst. Ph.D. hfz. Mensur Malkić, for his commitment to positioning the Faculty within the Islamic community and his contribution to the development of Islamic religious education;

Prof. Ph.D. hfz. to Safvet Halilović, for an exceptional contribution to the reputation of the Faculty and the development of tafsir science;

Center for Advanced Studies, for continued support, the purchase of literature and the improvement of the Faculty's library and research fund.
Faculty letters of appreciation were awarded:

To Hasan Mucić, LLB, the long-time secretary of the Faculty, for his dedicated supervision over the legality of the process and the orderly functioning of administrative affairs;

Azri Ahmetovic, for many years of diligent work and care for orderliness, dignity and warmth of the faculty environment.
For the first time, it was also presented Endowments, and special Letter of thanks to the Faculty's foundation, prof. To Enes Ljubijankić, for selfless support for the development of the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty.
The dean of the Faculty spoke at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Muharem Adilović, and the Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Duraković, who emphasized the continuity, importance and dedicated work of the Faculty.
In the name of the laureates, he solemnly addressed i Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mensur Malkić, who in his address said his final thought:
"This recognition remains an inspiration and a reminder for us to continue walking along the path of useful knowledge and perseverance that give life a special meaning."
The program was further enhanced by the performances of the student choir, which made a special contribution to the cultural identity of the Faculty with its performances.
The Islamic Pedagogical Faculty solemnly congratulates all employees, students, friends and associates on its day, with gratitude to all who contribute to its development, mission and success.
