The public defense of the doctoral dissertation "REIS DŽEMALUDDIN ČAUŠEVIĆ I" was held
HIS TEFSIRI OPINION WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO TRANSLATION I
COMMENTARY ON THE HOLY QUR'AN" by Adil Makić, M.Sc.
Ph.D. student In his dissertation, Makić covered a wide range of relevant topics, starting with
from Čaušević's life and educational path, the historical context of the time, through the analysis
his intellectual and pedagogical contribution, to a detailed analysis of the methodology and
a feature of his translation and commentary of the Holy Qur'an. Special contribution of mirror work
in a detailed treatment of rationalist tendencies in Čaušević's approach, as well as in a critical
valorization of his place within the wider reformist movement.
The composition of the Commission for the evaluation and defense of the doctoral thesis hfz. M.Sc. Adil Makić was the following:
