Based on Article 63 of the Rules, in connection with Article 23 of the Rules of Procedure of the Faculty and the Decision on
granting prior approval for filling vacant positions number 02-30-2821-2/25 of
14.05.2025. year, the dean of the Faculty announces
PUBLIC COMPETITION
to fill the vacant position of Student Affairs Officer in Student Services
Islamic Pedagogical Faculty in Zenica – 1 employee, full-time, permanent
time
1) Conditions: In addition to the general conditions set out in the Labor Law ("Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina", No.:
26/16 and 89/18), candidates must also meet the following special requirements:
a) completed secondary vocational education - IV degree,
b) 1 (one) year of work experience in the same or similar jobs and tasks,
c) that he/she is registered in the register of members of the IZ BIH,
d) computer skills,
e) knowledge of English or another foreign language.
3) Place of work: Islamic Pedagogical Faculty in Zenica, Bilimišće bb, 72000 Zenica
4) Working hours: 08:00 - 16:00
5) Job description: Preparing certificates on the regulation of student status, participating in the procedure
registers for exams and keeps records of the same, keeps records of passed exams, takes care of the postponement
documentation into student files, enters data into student services software, prepares
notices for students, keeps student registration books, keeps an alphabetical register of students, gives
telephone information related to the work of the student services, prepares record sheets for
newly enrolled students, receives documents for enrollment in the first year of studies and documents for
semester verification and enrollment in the next year of study, prepares data for creating reports and analyses on
the success of students, participates in the preparation of study contracts, participates in the preparation of documents that
issued by the faculty student service, and performs other tasks as ordered by the dean and secretary
faculty.
6) Necessary documents (original or certified copies)

b) certificate of citizenship (not older than 6 months)
c) birth certificate
d) high school graduation certificate
e) proof of work experience
f) confirmation from BIH that obligations have been duly settled
g) proof of computer skills
h) proof of knowledge of English or another world language

Note: Only the selected candidate is required to submit before concluding the employment contract
medical certificate that he is fit to work
7) Probationary work: For the specified position, a probationary period of 3 (three) months is mandatory.

Knowledge verification of candidates registered for the public competition will be carried out in the following exam areas:
Higher education: goals and importance; Students' rights and obligations; Cycles and types of studies; Diploma
(granting of the diploma and content and appearance of the diploma) Students; Acquisition and loss of student status;
Content of the competition for student enrollment; Suspension of student rights and obligations; Organizational bodies
units; Documentation and records; Public documents; Scope of organization and implementation of the study
program; Evaluation of student knowledge and exam deadlines; Final thesis; completion of studies, title,
degree and diploma; General provisions of the Rules of Study for the first and second cycles of studies at the University of
Zenica.
Candidates will be informed about the date, time and place of the written and oral exam
via the Faculty's website www.ipf.unze.ba, in the "Notices" section, and electronically,
after the closing of the Public Competition (after the deadline for applications for the Public Competition has expired).
The written examination of the candidates will be conducted in the form of a test. Candidates who achieve a
at least 65% of the total number of points are eligible to attend the interview. Candidates who
in the written exam, they achieve less than 65% of the total number of points, they are excluded from further
recruitment procedures.
At the oral exam, each member of the commission will evaluate the candidate by assigning him a specific number
points between one and five. The total score of the candidate in the oral exam will be the sum of the points
given by each member of the commission.
Points based on belonging to one of the categories of veterans and their family members will be
to be awarded in accordance with Article 25, paragraph 4, and in connection with Article 33 of the Rules of Procedure of the Faculty.
9) The competition remains open for eight (8) days from the date of publication of the Notice of Public Competition
in the newspaper "Preporod", and the full text will be published on the notice board and the Faculty's website.
Applications with a short CV and evidence of meeting the requirements from the advertisement should be submitted in person.
