FOR THE ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS IN THE FIRST YEAR OF THE II (SECOND) CYCLE OF STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025. YEARS

(Master's study)

 

Competition for the enrollment of students in the first year of the II (second) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica (Master's degree) in the academic year 2024/2025. year lasts from August 26 to September 30, 2024.

 

The faculties of the University of Zenica will provide complete information on the place and time of submission of documents on their bulletin boards and the faculty website.

 

Admission of accepted students to the faculties of the University of Zenica will be done  according to plan of the faculty in accordance with the adopted Plan for enrolling students in the first year of the II (second) cycle of studies at the University of Zenica in the academic year 2024/2025. year.

 

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, foreign citizens and stateless persons who have completed the first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) in Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Competition, as well as candidates who completed the first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for who, after the recognition or nostrification procedure, have been found to have completed the appropriate education to continue their education.

 

Exceptionally, candidates who have completed their first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to participate in the Contest even before the procedure for the recognition or certification of the diploma of the completed first cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) abroad has been completed, with the attachment of appropriate evidence of the initiation of the aforementioned procedures. The aforementioned candidates can enroll after the completion of the recognition procedure, i.e. the certification of completed education abroad, no later than the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year. year.

 

The admission and enrollment of students in the first year of studies is carried out by special commissions appointed by the deans of the University of Zenica.

 

The ranking list and the list of accepted candidates will be published by the faculty on the bulletin board and the faculty's website after they have been verified by the competent authorities no later than five days after the closing of the Competition.

 

The founder will bear the costs of regular studies in the academic year 2024/2025. year only for students who in the I (first) cycle of studies achieved an average grade of 8 (eight) and above in accordance with the Decision of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton on giving consent to the amount of tuition and other fees paid by students of the II (second) cycle of studies at University of Zenica in the academic year 2024/2025. year.

Exceptionally, the Founder bears the costs of regular studies for students who achieved an average grade of less than 8 (eight) in the I (first) cycle of studies, if they are students from the categories: children of martyrs, killed, deceased, missing defenders; children of a deceased, deceased, missing recipient of a war award or decoration; children of deceased war invalids and deceased demobilized defenders; members of the Roma nationality; disabled person via 70%; persons without parental care who are wards of institutions for the accommodation of children without parental care in the Zenica-Doboj Canton; persons whose parents/guardians are beneficiaries of social assistance and who reside in the area of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

 

In case of application of a large number of candidates, priority is given to candidates with a higher average grade achieved during the I (first) study cycle.

 

Candidates who apply for the Competition for admission to the first year of the II (second) study cycle (master's degree) attach the following documents:

1. biography,
2. diploma or certificate of graduation and completed I (first) cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) which is evaluated with 240 or 180 ECTS points,
3. birth certificate,
4. Certificate of Citizenship,
5. certificate of success achieved during the 1st (first) cycle of studies (undergraduate studies) with an overview of all subjects and grades (diploma supplement),
6. statement of acceptance of the obligation to pay the costs of the II (second) cycle of study (master's study) only for students enrolled in the status of regular self-financing and part-time students.

 

Candidates must submit the documents listed under points b), c), d), e) and f) in the original or a certified photocopy (with a certification no older than 6 (six) months from the date of publication of the Competition).

 

Candidates who are beneficiaries of the rights based on the Law on Supplementary Rights of Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, number: 1/14) attach the following documents in addition to the previously mentioned documents:

• certified household list,
• income certificates of household members,
• certified copy of identity card,
• confirmation of the status of members of the defense population and their family members.

 

Winner of a war award or decoration, war invalid, demobilized defender, child of a martyr, killed, deceased, missing defender, child of a war award or decoration winner, child of a war invalid and child of a demobilized defender in the status of a full-time student, has the right to priority under equal conditions at admission to the faculties of the University of Zenica, and in accordance with Article 20 of the Law on Supplementary Rights of Veterans and Their Family Members ("Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton", No. 1/14 and the Decree on Priority in the Education of Veterans and Their Family Members ("Official Gazette newspaper of the Zenica-Doboj Canton», number 4/14, 1/18 and 15/21).

 

Enrollment of candidates from the category of children: martyrs, martyrs, deceased, missing defenders; deceased, deceased, missing winner of a war award or decoration; deceased war invalid and deceased demobilized defender; members of the Roma nationality; disabled person via 70%; persons without parental care who are wards of institutions for the accommodation of children without parental care in the Zenica-Doboj Canton; persons whose parents/guardians are beneficiaries of social assistance and who reside in the area of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and who apply for regular studies (financed by the Founder) and pass the entrance exam, i.e. do not achieve the required number of points according to general and special criteria at the faculties for which the entrance exam is not scheduled, and do not enter the quota provided for in the Enrollment Plan, the Government of the Canton makes a special decision on granting consent to increase the number of students for enrollment. The decision to approve the increase in the number of students for enrollment is made based on the request of the University of Zenica.

 

Status of members of the Roma population, candidates for enrollment in the first year of the II (second) cycle of studies at the faculties of the University of Zenica in the academic year 2024/2025. prove by attaching one of the following documents from which membership of the Roma population is visible: school certificate, birth certificate, marriage certificate, extract from the voter list or any other document that contains information about belonging to the Roma population.

 

Status of a person with a disability via 70% candidates for enrollment in the first year of the II (second) cycle of studies at the faculties of the University of Zenica in the academic year 2024/2025. prove by attaching a document from a competent medical institution.
