06.12.2023. , the Day of the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty in Zenica was celebrated for the first time. At its seventh regular session in 2023, the Scientific and Teaching Council made a decision to choose December 6 as the official Faculty Day, because on this date, back in 1993, classes began at the then Islamic Pedagogical Academy.
Among others, the ceremonial academy was attended by representatives of Rijaset IZ in BiH, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of ZDK, the Rector of the University, the Mufti of Zenički, deans and deans of faculties, graduates of the first generation of IPA, teachers and associates, and students.
Plaques of the Faculty for merits in the contribution to the development of the Faculty and its Uganda in the country and abroad were awarded to Prof. dr. Sefik Kurdić and Prof. Dr. Mensur Valjevac. Also, the Certificate of Appreciation for many years of successful, continuous work was awarded to respected Esma Hodžić, head of the IPF Student Service.
Members of the student choir enriched the academy with their program. Before the formal academy itself, a meeting of the alumni of the first generation of the Islamic Pedagogical Academy with the dean, prof. dr. Muharem Adilović. On this occasion, we wish all our teachers, associates, staff, and students a happy Day of the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty in Zenica!
