The Faculty of Islamic Pedagogy (IPF) in Zenica in cooperation with the Mufti of Zenica and the "Hifz of the Holy Qur'an" Foundation is on Saturday, 17.12. In 2022, organized a competition in memorizing the Qur'an.
The competition realized in three categories; tilawet, hifz five juzes and hifz 15 juzes were attended by 26 participants.
In the opening part of the competition, the attendees were welcomed by the dean of the IPF, prof. Ph.D. Muharem Adilović, who praised the determination of the participants to preserve their connection with the Qur'an in this way.
During the program, along with the contestants, members of the choir of this faculty presented themselves with several ilahi.
After learning Quranic fragments by all the contestants, the commission consisting of Hafiz prof. Ph.D. Safet Husejnović, hafiz doc. Ph.D. Mensur Malkić and Hafiz Assoc. Ph.D. Abdulaziz Drkić, based on established criteria, declared the most successful.
As they emphasized, all competitors showed an enviable level of knowledge about the text of the Qur'an and the application of Tajweed rules. According to them, nuances decided the winners.

The competition was closed by prof. Ph.D. Safvet Halilović, who sent several motivational messages to the competitors and praised their commitment.
- All those who study tafsir, refer to some definitions of the Qur'an. The most beautiful of them is the one in which the Lord says that if all the trees on the globe turned into pens, and all the seas into ink, and they increased seven times as much, they would not be able to write the words of Allah. The Qur'an is the main source of Islam and will remain preserved, and one of the ways to preserve it is this and what you, the Hafiz and the Hafiz present here, are doing - said Dr. Halilović.
According to the organizers, this program is intended to be IPF's contribution to memorizing the Qur'an. As they state, learned people cannot get enough of the Qur'an, so it is important that such events have their own continuity.
