REISU-L-ULEMA ON A WORKING VISIT TO THE FACULTY OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA

As part of the official visit to the Mufti of Zenica, on December 2, 2020, the reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, dr. Hussein ef. Kavazović was on a working visit to the Faculty of Islamic Pedagogy at the University of Zenica.
In the delegation with reisu-l-ulema Kavazović were the director of the Directorate for Religious Affairs Ismail ef. Smajlović, representative of the Administration for Education and Science, prof. Seid Eminović, and the mufti of Zenički, Assoc. Ph.D. hfz. Mevludina ef. Dizdarević with his associates.
The hosts at the Faculty were the dean of the Faculty, prof. Ph.D. Muharem Adilović, vice dean for scientific research, prof. Ph.D. Izet Pehlić, chairman of the Faculty Council, prof. Ph.D. Šefik Kurdić, head of the Department of Islamic Religious Education, prof. Ph.D. hfz. Safvet Halilović and Faculty Secretary Hasan Mucić.
Dean prof. Ph.D. Muharem Adilović expressed his welcome and briefly presented the work of the Faculty in the conditions of the corona virus pandemic, and pointed out the basic challenges that the Faculty faces in its activities. Vice dean for scientific research, prof. Ph.D. Izet Pehlić introduced the guests to the results of scientific research activities at the Faculty, while the chairman of the NNV, prof. Ph.D. Šefik Kurdić and head of the Department of Islamic Religious Education Prof. Dr. Safvet Halilović presented the work of the Faculty from their responsibilities and pointed out the significant results achieved in the past period.

Reisu-l-ulema dr. Hussein ef. In his address, Kavazović emphasized the special importance of the Faculty for the Islamic community and Bosnian society in general. He expressed his satisfaction with the overall development of the Faculty and the projects that the Faculty is responsible for, and especially praised the way the teaching process was organized at the Faculty in the conditions of the Covid-19 virus pandemic. Also, the respected Reisu-l-ulema expressed interest in the needs of our Faculty and expressed the intention of even stronger support of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community to our institution.
