IPF delegation visiting kindergartens "Amel and Nur" in Sarajevo

On January 21, a delegation from the Faculty of Islamic Pedagogy of the University of Zenica visited the private Preschool Education Institution "Amel i Nur" in Sarajevo. They visited kindergartens in Vogošća and Grbavica and discussed the possibilities of future cooperation.
The faculty delegation included the dean, prof. Ph.D. Halil Mehtić, vice dean for NIR prof. Ph.D. Nusret Isanović, vice dean for teaching assistant. Ph.D. Almira Isić and head of the Department for Preschool Education prof. Ph.D. Izet Pehlić.
The host was Assoc. Ph.D. hfz. Kenan Music, director Edis Habot and pedagogue Mirzeta Drkić.
The institution for pre-school education "Amel i Nur" has been in existence since 1998, and since then it has been successfully organizing and implementing the education program for our youngest children. It has three organizational units in its composition:
1. Kindergarten "Amel" in Ilidža, which started operating in September 1998,
2nd Kindergarten "Nur" in Grbavica, started operating in September 1999.
3. Kindergarten "Vogošća" started working in September 2010.
In kindergartens, a program of care, upbringing and education of children of preschool age is organized, from the age of 12 months until they start school.
A return visit of the delegation from the "Amel i Nur" preschool education institution to the Faculty of Islamic Pedagogy of the University of Zenica in February of this year has been agreed upon, and a cooperation protocol will be signed on that occasion.
